A faceless man in a white coat sits at the center of the composition, enthroned on a stack of cash. With one hand, he offers a red apple to a small girl on his left. With the other, he extends an IV drip to the same girl on his right, now dressed in a hospital gown.
He gives her the poison. He gives her the treatment. He profits from both.
The girl on the left wears Snow White-inspired dress : yellow skirt, blue and red bodice. The red apple is the most famous poisoned apple in Western imagination, handed by a figure disguised as benevolent. The fairy tale was always a warning. We just didn't really know who the villain was.
The two figures are the same child, before and after. The man in the white coat is the only constant.
The stack of bills is not just wealth, it is his throne. Power made literal. He doesn't stand above you. He sits, comfortable, permanent, waited upon.
Material & FormAcrylic on canvas. The background is painted in deep teal. The central scene is framed within a near-black square bordered by a fine gold line, isolating the composition like a stage, or a diorama. The man's white coat catches the light against the darkness. The child's dress — yellow, blue, red — is the only warmth in the painting.

Every care is taken to package each piece with plenty of bubble wrap in sturdy boxes, in the unlikely event that a piece arrives damaged, this must be reported within 5 days of delivery, with photos of both the packaging and the artwork.
